Maintenance Requirements

Towable Units

Here are the following maintenance requirements you need to perform every year on any towable unit. The inspection must be done by a certified RV dealer. Our rate at RV Connections is $199.

  • Inspect roof and seal where necessary.
  • Inspect axles and hub, lube where necessary.
  • Inspect furnace – clean blower and combustion chamber, control compartment, (remove any dust, lint, and objects).
  • Test for gas line leaks.
  • Inspect hot water heater – flush holding tank, manually operate pressure temperature relief valve, and clean burner tube as necessary.

Motorized Units

Here are the following maintenance requirements you need to perform every year on any motorized unit. The inspection must be done by a certified RV dealer. Our rate at RV Connections is $199.

  • Inspect and seal roof where necessary.
  • Inspect axles and hub, lube where necessary.
  • Inspect Furnace – clean blower and combustion chamber, control compartment, (remove any dust, lint, and obstruction).
  • Test for gas line leaks.
  • Inspect hot water heater – flush holding tank, manually operate pressure temperature relief valve, and clean burner tube as necessary.
  • Inspect suspension and lubricate where necessary – grease front and rear suspension components, including but not limited to, axle bearings, tie rods, control arms, and break camshaft brackets.

*Lifetime RV Warranty Disclaimer - Lifetime RV Warranty covers all repairs to the covered components of your RV for as long as you own it. This applies only to qualifying new and used units two calendar years back; see dealer for exclusions. Towing and roadside assistance expenses are not covered under the Lifetime RV Warranty program. See agreement for complete details. Proof of annual maintenance is required from a certified RV dealership. We would like you to bring your RV to RV Connections for the annual maintenance, the cost of which is $199 for all vehicles, including motorized vehicles. You can bring your RV to any licensed RV repair facility for annual maintenance.
