What to do in Panama?
Are you looking to get your summer off on the right foot? Check out these activities that are happening around Panama City this weekend!
There are plenty of activities to choose from, ranging from festivals to fishing. Find what you want to do and get out there!
Here is a list of fun, upcoming events that will have you and your crew living it up this summer.
License Free Saltwater Fishing Day
Have you ever wanted to experience the thrill of fishing but haven’t wanted to take the time or money to get a fishing license? Well you’re in luck!
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is offering license free saltwater fishing days this weekend. On Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, new anglers can grab their gear and head out to do some fishing!
This is a great opportunity to teach those who want to try out fishing before they commit to a license.
With your waiver, participants can fish any recreational harvest requiring a saltwater fishing license (e.g., crabbing, lobstering, scalloping, etc.) as well as fishing from shore or a boat.
The date was chosen because it will be the same weekend as National Fishing and Boating Week. So grab your tackle box and get out there!
1st Annual Panama City Beach Beer Festival
This Saturday, June 7, join other beer enthusiasts for the 1st annual Panama City Beach Beer Festival!
This is the largest craft beer festival in the area and will be held at Fishale Gastro Pub in Panama City. There will be plenty of rare craft beers, live music, national reps, and an incredible experience.
The cost of the event is $25.00 for general admission or $50.00 for VIP tent tickets. The ticket price includes a collectible beer glass, unlimited free samples of 2 oz pours from over 200 different beers and free shuttle service from Pete Edwards field. All proceeds will benefit the Toys for Kids Foundation.
Dolphin Sunset Cruise
This just sounds lovely doesn’t it? A nice sunset cruise with breathtaking views and dolphins swimming about. What could be better?!
On Thursday, June 5, join Neysa Wilkins on the Captain Anderson III for some great scenery and inspiring words! Don’t miss out on this amazing adventure as you will enjoy live entertainment by some of the area’s best Christian artists while you take in the beautiful scenery of St. Andrews Bay.
The cruise will last 2 hours and will combine Christian music with an informative narration by the Captain as he takes you to see the wild bottlenose dolphins and seabirds. After the dolphins are spotted, sit back and relax as the guest singers will take over while you enjoy cruising around the bay at sunset.
